d. Oats Pancakes

Pancakes are easiest to prepare when they are made with oats.

The batter should consist of Captain’s Classic Rolled Oats and rice flour and be spiced with ginger and chili. This dish can really make you full and satisfy your craving.

Instructions

Use a blender to thoroughly combine all of the ingredients until they become smooth.

The consistency of the mixture should be similar to that of crepe batter.

So add a few drops more water whenever necessary. Wait 15–20 minutes before stirring the batter again. This way, the oats will be able to absorb more liquid.

While the pan or griddle is heating up, brush it with a little oil. Place a half cup of batter in the middle of the dish using a ladle, and spread it out.

Cook until it is golden brown all over and crisp. Sprinkle a spoonful of oil whenever needed. Do the same with the remaining batter. Serve with your favorite chutney.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup beetroot cooked
  • 1 Onion roughly chopped (medium )
  • 1 Green chilli chopped
  • ½ inch fresh ginger peeled and chopped
  • ½ teaspoon Cumin seeds
  • ½ teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1 pinch Asafetida

e. Garlic Oats with Eggs

Garlic Oats with Eggs is without a doubt a go-to breakfast option for busy adults. Cook Captain Classic Rolled Oats with garlic and olive oil and top it with a fried egg.

In addition to this, the runny yolk combines with the oats to provide the creamiest combo possible for breakfast.

Voila! You can now enjoy a delicious breakfast that is high in fiber and protein.

Instructions

In a saucepan, heat up a teaspoon of oil, then add minced garlic. Add the oats after the garlic has been sautéed for 15 seconds.

After giving the oats a quick stir for a few seconds, add all of the water, along with the salt and pepper.

Bring this to a fast boil, and then reduce the heat to a simmer for three to four minutes.

At this point, the mixture should have thickened into a consistency similar to that of porridge, and the oats should be cooked.

If the consistency is too thick, add more water as necessary. Add the cheese and basil to the oats and stir them together.

In a non-stick pan, add olive oil and fry the eggs one by one. Salt and paprika or chilli powder can be sprinkled on top of each egg.

When ready to serve, split the oats between two bowls on an even basis. Lastly, place a fried egg on top, then sprinkle with additional paprika and chopped coriander.

In a Nutshell

Cooking with Captain Classic Rolled Oats is truly simple and hassle free. Many people might wonder about the difference between rolled oats and instant oats. In fact, when it comes to rolled oats vs. instant oats, their differences are obvious.

Instant oats are oats that have been pre-cooked, dried, rolled, and then pressed into a somewhat thinner consistency than rolled oats. Although they cook more rapidly than rolled oats, rolled oats don’t maintain as much of their texture when cooked and often get mushy.
