- 2/3 cup of toasted Captain Oats Instant Oatmeal
- 1 medium red apple, cut into cubes
- 1/2 medium cucumber, cut into cubes
- 2 large pieces of salad leaves, cut into small squares
- 5 green/black grapes, halved and seeds removed
- 1 small boiled carrot, cut into cubes
- 1 medium boiled potato, cut into cubes
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt to taste
- 10 pieces of grilled cashew nuts
1/2 cup boiled chick peas
- 1/4 cup boiled frozen peas, drained
- 3 tubs low fat mango flavoured yoghurt
- 2 tablespoons of toasted sesame seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon of white pepper powder
- 1/4 teaspoon of cardamom powder
Methods
- In a large glass bowl, mix all the above thoroughly except the yoghurt.
- Sprinkle with toasted oats and sesame seeds and then serve immediately.
Remove from steamer. Add sesame oil and spring onions. Sprinkle with fried shallots. Serve hot.
