- 1 cup Captain Quick Cook Oatmeal
- 1/2 kg meat (cubed)
- 2 onions (chopped)
- 4 garlic cloves (crushed)
- 1/4 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
- Dried lemon (peeled)
- Salt (to taste)
- 2 tablespoons ghee
Methods
- Add oats to 5 cups water. Bring to boil.
- Add 1 chopped onion and meat. Cook until meat is tender.
- In a separate pan, heat ghee. When hot, saute chopped onion, crushed garlic, spices and dried lemon. Remove from pan.
Add the sauted ingredients to the soup. Leave to boil for 5 minutes before serving.
